Frequently Asked Questions

1.       ‘Domain Name’ implies you can have your own dot com domain name if available for us to register. Please advise 3 choices of a domain name you would like and eLanka will check if one of the three choices of your domain name is available. Once registered, your domain name will look like www.YourChosenName.com

2.       If you have registered a domain name previously please advise us and we will design the website for you for your domain name.

3.       The value of domain name registration is $25 per year. This is included in the special offer, for one year. After the first year, you must renew your domain name registration, for the website to be available on the internet.

4.       ‘Logo design’ implies, we will provide you with a choice of 2 logos based on the colour theme and name you provide. We will do one iteration of changes you require to finalise the logo. The logo will be ‘words of your company or business’ done in a professional looking font. If you need a fancy logo with symbols etc, then this is not included in this special offer.

5.       The value of a normal logo design is $150. This is included in the special offer.

6.       ‘5 page website’ implies a static website professionally designed laid out with HOME, ABOUT US, SERVICES, CONTACT US & Another page name you name. We will include one header image (photo) of from our library. This header image (photo) will be on all 5 pages, unless you provide eLanka with 5 different photos for each page we design..

7.       ‘10 Page website’ implies a static set of pages with upto 2 pages of an interactive form design. An Interactive form can be a CONTACT US form where your customers can fill in details and submit and when submitted you will get an email with the details your customers submit.

8.       As part of the Yellow package offer, we will provide you with 2 email addresses if required (eg: anyname@yourdmainname.com)

9.       Content for the Pages - We will post all the content YOU provide on each of the pages. It is your responsibility to email us the content for each page. Note that we will only design the pages and not provide you with content. You must provide us the content you want on each page.

10.   Photos for the Pages - you must provide all photos for the website. We will include 1 free photo from our library. However, if you need photos for each page for the header photo, then you must supply these photos to eLanka. Note that you must ether have your own photos or buy them from royalty free image libraries. You cannot simply take images from other websites. You must either have taken these photos ourself and own them or must buy them from image libraries and provide to us to incorporate within the website we design for you.

11.   ‘Content Update’ - Once we complete the website and post it live, we will also do one content update every month for you at NO ADDITIONAL COST. That is, if you need the content changes on one or more pages, please email us support@eLanka.com.au and we will post the revised content.

12.   The special offer gives you one such free content update every month for the 1^st year

13.   If you need additional work done on content or pages, then this will be at an additional charge of $75 per hour.

14.   ‘Hosting of your website’ implies we will host the website for you for the 1^st year as part of the Special offer. The value of this special offer is $125 per year, and it is included as part of the special offer for the 1^st year.

15.   NOTE: from the 2^nd year, there will be a recurring CHARGE OF $125 per year for hosting of your website.

16.   NOTE: from the 2^nd year, there will be a recurring CHARGE OF $25 per year to renew your Domain Name

17.   NOTE: content update offer is for the 1^st year only. If you need further content updates after the 1^st year, then there will be a charge of $75 per hour for any changes. 

18.   If you are not yet a member, then please register as an eLanka member. We will email you periodically on other special offers and events such as this.

19.   In the COMMENTS Section of the form that you fill input the domain names you want us to check and all additional information

20.   NOTE: In summary - $299 gives you a website with upto 5 pages including the domain registration, website hosting and one content update a month.

21.   NOTE: After the first year, you must renew your domain and hosting registration. So the minimum cost of continuing the website after the first year is $25 + $125 = $150 per year. We will continue to update your website once a month as well.
