The amazing Widfire Band was flown in from Sri Lanka by Roger Billimoria (of Bilmol Foods) to entertain the Sydney Sri Lankan Community. In addition to the Sydney community, there were guests from both Melbourne & Sri Lanka too.

Mr Priyanga Hapugalle; CEO of Direct Solutions - Colombo (the leading direct marketing agency) who who was here on a holiday commented the promotions support & organizing of this great event by Mr Roger Billimoria.

The Band was simply superb belting out a string of hits from Rock 'N' Roll to Disco to the modern dance numbers like "Love Generation". Baila goes without saying was superb!. Then hits of Dire Straits, The Eagles, ELO etc catered beautifully to the crowd.

The food was just superb!, which was catered by the Blue Elephant restaurant in Crows Nest. The table decor & gifts were loved by the ladies!.

Mr Priyantha Cooray's exhibition dance was probably the best dance the crowd had seen in a decade! He did the Salsa, the Rock 'n' Roll and Disco dancing superbly.

The audience also witnessed great fashion by the ladies - check out the photos, and you will see even guys like Duke Ramachandran, Dulip De Livera & Lasantha Peiris wearing the latest fashion in men's clothing.

Mr Roger Billimoria, we thank you for taking a great initiative in bringing one of the greatest Sri Lankan Bands to Sydney and entertaining us all.
