Overview:

This was a video done 25 years back, and lately digitalised by the producer to create a YouTube.
Anuradhapura a ruined city, in the North Central part of Sri Lanka, was the kingdom and belongs to grand period of the documented history of Sri Lanka from 377 BC to 1017 AD

The Anuradhapura Kingdom named for its capital city, was the first established kingdom, and the major ports and towns of Sri Lanka.

The Anuradhapura dagabas which date from the early centuries of the Anuradhapura period, are of such colossal proportions that they constitute the largest structures of their type anywhere in the Buddhist World, even rivalling the Pyramids of Egypt in size.
