Obituary: Srikantha Nadarajah (aka ‘Nada’) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Vanniyasingam Srikantha Nadarajah (or ‘Nada’ as he was affectionately known in our community). He was the loving husband of the late Sunetra Nadarajah, beloved father of Kanishka and Upekha, and loved grandfather to Elora, Reuben, Leona and Isabella. There are two basic problems: too much demand and too little supply. The only way to cut demand is to cut immigration, which the government is not prepared to do, and building all these proposed new houses will put further pressure on the building industry, which cannot complete the jobs they have.  I would hate to be building or renovating a house right now. The Rain in Spain were tears of joy as they snatch a World Cup dream- BY TREVINE RODRIGO IN MELBOURNE (eLanka Sports editor) It was raining tears of joy in Spain as the plucky Spanish pulled off a sensational 1-0 win over a luckless England to lift the World Cup in Sydney. In all fairness, England were fancied to go all the way but found the Spanish women a daunting prospect. It was all Spain for most parts of the game as they launched endless waves of attacks into England territory but were thwarted by a solid defence that could have made the margin more emphatic.
