Support Sri Lanka Eye Care Project

Sri Lankan Eye Care Project

I am on the committee of Global Hand Charity and part of my role is organising a fundraising lunch in support of the Sri Lankan Eye Care project. The luncheon is on Friday 29 March at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel and features Professor Stephen Smith who is well placed from his previous roles as Foreign Minister and Defence Minister to discuss the looming US/China trade war and it’s impact on Australia. See attached flyer.

We are a small organisation who do great work on a shoestring budget supported by the Rotary Club of Mill Point.

Global Hand Charity Inc helps people in the poorest regions of the world, with particular emphasis in countries such as Laos and Sri Lanka. We don’t just supply products and equipment, we provide programs and resources to give whole communities a safe and sustainable future. This luncheon aims to raise funds for the Global Hands Mobile Eye Care camps that have tested and improved eyesight through gift of glasses to over 5,000 adults and children in remote villages in Sri Lanka and Laos.
For more info on Global Hand, go here-

I welcome your support for this important charity project targeting Sri Lankans suffering poor eyesight, and ask that this note and attached flyer be circulated to friends of the Sri Lanka community in Perth and WA.

Booking for the luncheon can be done by clicking on the BOOK NOW tab on the attached flyer.

Regards

Rick Sneeuwjagt
