‘The Earth Collection’ – Saree exhibition & sale, Brisbane 21 – 23 June 2019

This is an invitation to Kay Collections handloom saree exhibition and sale to be held in Brisbane next week.

The exhibition will showcase many varieties of exquisite handwoven and hand embroidered sarees with a focus on specially curated ‘The Earth Collection’. This collection will include Kotpad, Madhubani, Muga and Kantha sarees. The attached flyer displays a hand spun, handwoven naturally dyed Kotpad saree from Odisha.

As always, there will be fresh collections of Banarasis and Chanderis and weaves from other regions in natural silk and cotton fibres. I look forward to the exhibition and sharing stories of the amazing artisans who produce such wonderful work.

The exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to view, drape and purchase some of the most colourful and meticulously-handwoven sarees. It is open to everyone and entry is free. The details are as follows:
