S.THOMAS’ COLLEGE OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION NSW (Sydney)   The College S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia is an Anglican Church School, which was founded by the first Bishop of Colombo, the Rt. Rev. James Chapman, D. D. It was his foremost vision to build a College & Cathedral for the new Diocese of Colombo of the Church of Ceylon. Royal College OBA – VIC     ABOUT RCOBAA Royal College Old Boys in Australia Association is an organisation incorporated in the state of Victoria , Australia. Membership is open to all past students of Royal College (RC) Colombo, Sri Lanka and Junior School formerly know as Royal Primary School( RPS). RCOBAA has been recognised as the sole representative organisation in Victoria of Old boys of Royal College by the parent body in Sri Lanka the Royal College Union (RCU). The origins of the current RCOBAA date back to the late 1970’s when Old Royalists domiciled in Melbourne used to meet in what was very much a ”boys club” environment at each other’s houses. Royal College OBA – NSW     History of RCOBA NSW/ACT The Royal College Old Boys Association of NSW & ACT (RCOBA) is the alumni society (old boys’ association) established for the old Royalists living in NSW & ACT. RCOBA is affiliated to Royal College Union (RCU) founded in 1891. It is the oldest such alumni society in Sri Lanka. RCOBA was set up to further the interests of the college and its past and present members, and to keep former pupils in touch with each other and with the school. Annually the RCOBA organizes many sporting and social events on behalf of its membership.
