It gives me great pleasure to announce that I will be hosting an exclusive concert dedicated to the poetry and songs of two legendary poets of Bollywood – Kaifi Azmi and Majrooh Sultanpuri.
On SAT 13th AUGUST at the Hurstville Civic Theatre.
This will be a concert for a small audience and in support of NAUTANKI THEATRE. On stage with me will be Pakistan’s legendary film and TV actress UZMA GILLANI and Sydney’s well-known female voice RUCHA LANGE, backed up by the finest musicians.
“Jab Dil Hi Toot Gayaa”, “Ye Nayan Darey Darey”, “Waqt Ne Kiyaa”, “Inhi Logon Ne”, “Na Tum Humey Jaano”, “Hamey Tumse Pyaar Kitaa”….. the astounding list of songs penned by the two poets, is unending. And we have picked the best for you!
