The venue in Melbourne’s north is three months behind on rent and has received an eviction notice to move out by early September unless the charity can quickly repay debts through its $150,000 fundraiser. While serving up more than 100 meals a day to those in need during lockdown, about half a dozen staff at the High Street venue have not been paid for a month.
