SUNDAY CHOICE – Be Thou My Guide & Vision – By Charles Schokman Life this side of heaven provides a head-spinning range of options, and our Creator grants us the freedom to choose. We know right from wrong because God writes His commandments on our hearts. We are free to obey, or not, but once we choose, the consequences are not under our control. We cannot use our human abilities to know God’s ways, but the Holy Spirit works faith in our heart to seek God’s wisdom and His promise of salvation to us. Our heavenly Father does not abandon us to our damning choices. Rather, He offers the gift of His Word to create faith in our Saviour, reveal Himself, and show us how to live.
