Discussions were held between the members of the delegation, representatives from the Colombo Port City Economic Commission(CPCEC) and Port City Colombo (PCC) with a view to attracting foreign direct investments to the project and delegation was given a tour of the project and received an overview of its development and plans for the future as the Port City Colombo project is expected to bring significant economicbenefits to Sri Lanka, including jobcreation and increased foreigninvestment.
