This year, Hume City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from a Hindi speaking Hume resident to join the Multicultural Communications Advisory Group for a new 12-month term. The Multicultural Communications Advisory Group first came together in 2024 to work closely with Council to guide us on how to communicate effectively with Hume’s diverse community groups. The Group’s 11 members represented the Arabic, Assyrian, Farsi, Greek, Italian, Mandarin, Nepali, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese language communities, which were identified as the groups that would benefit most from communications support.
