There is no doubt we have reached the bottom of the interest rate cycle, and rates will start to move upwards again.   I see that most major banks are already increasing their fixed interest rates. Maybe that’s something that’s worth exploring if you have a housing loan. Just be aware that taking out a fixed rate is like taking out insurance – there is always a cost.
