SUNDAY CHOICE – Keep me travelling along with you – by Charles Schokman This is a children’s song about new beginnings. It was written by English historian, folk-singer and song-writer Sydney Bertram Carter (1915-2004) – author of Lord of the Dance. It was first published in 1971 by Stainer and Bell Ltd. The lyrics of this journeying hymn by Daniel Shiells with its bouncy tune are often sung with passion and meaning in rousing school assemblies.
