Deshabandu Anura Tennekoon launches his Autobiography at SSC Thomian and former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Anura Tennekoon released his Autobiography at the SINHALESE SPORTS CLUB (SSC) in February 2020 in the presence of many distinguished guests including present and past Sri Lanka Cricketers. The books launched in English were titled PASSIONATELY CRICKET and HADAGASMA CRICKET in Sinhala Anura was conferred a Deshabandu award by President Maithripala Sirisena  in 2019 for his contribution to the upliftment of cricket in Sri Lanka and for his services as Team Member and Captain in the Pre-Test  cricketing era. Anura, presently serves as a Consultant to SRI LANKA CRICKET in the Schools Cricket Development Unit. As a special honour to his former college mates of  STC Mount Lavinia, Anura will undertake to supply his autobiography directly  and those interested could contact him.
