Chamara Kapugedara first Rajan to play Test Cricket for Sri Lanka-by Upananda Jayasundera Chamara Kapugedara Source:Dailynews Chamara Kantha Kapugedara, an Old Boy of Dharmaraja College,Kandy is a former Cricketer who is the first Rajan to be selected for the Sri Lanka Test Squad. Before him Sonny Yatawara and T.B.Kehelgamuwa were selected for the Sri Lanka (then Ceylon) side before getting test status. Dharmaraja College has also produced former Sri Lanka Schools Cricketers such as T.B.Talwatte, Arthur Alwis , S.P.Situnayake, Chandra de Silva, Raja Mettananda,D.D.P.Alwis, Sarath Randeniya, G.S.Ratnayake, Ananda Jayasundera, N.K.B.Angammana, Harold Ranasinghe, Ravi Rajapakse, Dhananjaya Nawaratne, Senaka Dissanayake, Pubudu Seneviratne, Buwaneka Ekanayake, Chatura Ratnayake, Sandun Weerakkody and Asanka Marapane to name a few.
