Euphony with a Sri Lankan twist were simply melodious. BY TREVINE RODRIGO IN MELBOURNE. Please click here to view the full photo album on eLanka Facebook page  It took a lot of convincing to drag us to a musical experience on an afternoon after a late night on Saturday at a dinner dance, but we were glad we did. Thanks to our mates Lucky and Kal Jayasinghe who coaxed us to accompany them to the event at the Round Theatre in Nunawading, we got to experience a fabulous musical that proved to be exceptional on many fronts. The ‘Choral evening of iconic melodies’ as it was themed, lived upto lofty expectations from an all Sri Lankan ensemble and their passionate supporters who thronged the venue to a sold out event. Anne’s Birthday: Unplanned Fun at Bentleigh’s Thai Street Food Restaurant – BY TREVINE RODRIGO A few family and friends show up to celebrate Anne’s birthday. Not a planned party but still a sizable crowd. It was followed by a diversion to Chris and Annie’s Thai Street Food restaurant in Bentleigh for a planned night at the Springvale RSL that was cancelled due to renovations.
