Gala Anniversary Night of Nights Source : Silverscene Official Newsletter And finally…. Our fiftieth anniversary celebration came to fruition on our third attempt….and in our 52nd year. “Figs on Sylvan” was beautifully decked out in the theme of black and orange on the tables and lanterns, with a splash of gold bathing the venue in fairy lights and sashes. President Laurensz lauded the past Presidents, Executive and Committee members of the last 52 years as the cement which held together a club that has achieved so much in friendship and fellowship. Our special guest, Anton Swan OAM, spoke of the easy relationship Silver Fawn enjoyed in affiliation with other Sri Lankan Associations and with his role as Sri Lankan Consul.
