Orient Finance PLC Appoints Manohari Abeyesekera to Board of Directors 02nd April 2024 – Colombo: Orient Finance, a member of the Janashakthi Group, announces the appointment of Manohari Abeyesekera as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective from 26th March 2024. Manohari is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant with over 20 years of post-qualification experience in leadership C-suite executive positions in both the private and state sectors in Sri Lanka. She currently serves as a Global Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK), a Council Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID), and a Board Member of the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board (SLASSMB), which serves as a regulator.
