International recognition for Lankan women surfers-by M.A.Phakurdeen Addalaichenai Group Correspondent Women surfers during their training Source:Dailynews A special event to mark presentation of International Surfing Association Surf Instructor and Ocean Safety Certificates to women’s surfers and a demonstration by them on the skills they have learnt during this project was held at Arugambay beach and New Tri Star Hall, Arugambay recently. This was an initiation by the Skills for Inclusive Growth programme (S4IG) and supported by Australian aid.
