Writer K.S.Sivakumaran passes away Source:Dailynews The death occurred on Friday of veteran journalist, writer and literary critic Kailayar Sellanainar Sivakumaran, more popularly known as K.S. Sivakumaran (86), a regular contributor to the Sunday Observer and the Daily News. Sivakumaran was a trilingual writer who especially focused on Tamil cinema and Tamil and English literary works. He has published 30 books in Tamil and two in English. He worked for the “Virakesari” as a journalist for a number of years. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the sixth edition of the Jaffna International Cinema Festival in December 2020 for his contribution to local cinema. ...
