‘Lakmahal’: Colonial-Era Abode Turned Into A Community Library-by Kris Thomas Source:Roar.media Here is a house that once hosted parties for Colombo; where artists mingled with politicians when Sri Lanka was ‘Ceylon’ and under colonial occupation. Lakmahal, at number 8A, Alfred House Road, Colombo 3, has undergone many changes since.
