3 Bengali tiger cubs celebrate their first birthday on Sunday Source:Dailymirror A birthday celebration will be held at the Dehiwala zoological gardens for three Bengal Tiger Cubs on March 5 (Sunday), Zoological Department Director-General Tilak Premakantha said. He told the Daily Mirror the three cubs will celebrate their first birthday on that day. The mother of the cubs died last month following a cancer diagnosis. The cubs are in good health and very playful under the best care given to them, officials said. In conjunction with that day, the zoological department is hoping to conduct a promotion program and awareness programs related to these animals throughout the day to celebrate their birthdays, the Director-General said.
