Sri Lankan Census Data derived from the 2016 census on people of Sri Lankan decent   My personal opinion, is that these figures are suspect, as I feel there are over 300,000 Sri Lankans in Australia. Data in, is data out, there could be many stating their origins as Dutch, English etc, as they are want to do. It speaks of  20,000 Burghers in Australia. In my opinion the figures are well over 50,000 (I take into account the second and third generations). What are your views please ??
