Community Language Schools Spectacular Success – 06.06.23 Community Language Schools in NSW have demonstrated in a spectacular way that they are doing much more than maintaining community languages for the next generation. Sydney Town Hall has hosted the Inaugural NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Performance Spectacular on June 4th with the songs and dances of dozens of cultural backgrounds on show. The speaker was Dr Raja Bandaranayake. Raja graduated in Medicine from the University of Ceylon, obtained his PhD from the University of London Guy’s Hospital Medical School and a master’s in education from the University of Southern California.
