An Invitation to Attend a Public Meeting
We are writing to invite you to attend a public meeting to express solidarity and provide inspiration and strength to the ongoing protest movement in Sri Lanka.
‘Aus-Lanka People’s Solidarity’, a collective of community organisations and individuals in Victoria is organising this event. The event will be held on Saturday, the 25th of June at 2.30 pm at the Science Lecture Theatre S 4, Monash University 16, Rainforest Walk, Clayton VIC 3800.
Several speakers from Australia and the protest movement in Sri Lanka are scheduled to address this event.
International solidarity is crucial, as the protest movement in Sri Lanka is at a critical juncture and your participation will inspire those agitating for a fair deal for the people and a better future for Sri Lanka.
