On behalf of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), we are pleased to cordially invite you and the members of your Facebook community to attend the ‘Invest Sri Lanka’ Investor Forums 2026 – Australia, taking place in Melbourne on:

18 August 2026at Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields, Australia Room, 5.00pm onwards

The forum will serve as a platform to highlight the attractive investment opportunities available within Sri Lanka’s capital market. Characterized by a relatively low Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio of 11.70x compared to regional peers, the Sri Lankan stock market has demonstrated remarkable growth over the past six years. The All Share Price Index (ASPI) has increased by approximately 360%, rising from 4,846 points in May 2020 to 22,310.80 points by the end of May 2026.

Through the ‘Invest Sri Lanka’ Investor Forums, the SEC and CSE aim to showcase Sri Lanka as an attractive alternative investment destination for global investment funds, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals seeking new growth opportunities.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with distinguished leaders from Sri Lanka’s public and private sectors, including Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka; Hon. Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of Sri Lanka; Senior Prof. D.B.P.H. Dissabandara, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka; and Mr. Ray Abeywardena, Director of the Colombo Stock Exchange.
