CRITICALLY WOUNDED BOY’S ‘LIFE SAVIOUR’ ATTENDS HIS WEDDING THIRTY THREE (33) YEARS LATER. – By Dr Gamini Goonetilleke Source : drgamini.org The insurgents exploded a bomb in the Gampaha town on the 19th of September 1989.  A three year old boy was critically wounded in this explosion. An emergency neurosurgical procedure was carried out on the  injured boy by the General Surgeon at the Base Hospital, Gampaha on that fateful day.
