Australian squad named for historic CommBank Women’s Ashes Test Match Source: Cricket Australia – CA Multicultural Media (eLanka) Cricket Australian’s National Selection Panel (NSP) has today announced the Australian squad for the upcoming CommBank Women’s Ashes Test Match. The squad features the same 13 players that took part in the opening three One-Day Internationals, with Queenslander Georgia Voll a chance to make her Test debut. The match will be the first day-night Test at the MCG and the first women’s Test match at the venue since 1948-49. MEDIA RELEASE – International Cricket Schedule for Season 2024-25 Announced Source: Cricket Australia – CA Multicultural Media – eLanka A Men’s five-Test Match Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series and a day-night MCG Test Match as part of the Women’s Ashes Series are highlights of the 2024-25 international cricket schedule released today. The intense rivalry between the Australia and India men will capture the attention of the cricket world with Pat Cummins’ ICC World Test Champions taking on star-studded India in the NRMA Insurance Test Series – the first five Test Match Series between the countries since 1991-92.
