Compelling stories of resilience and hope Dear Friend, In the midst of tremendous struggle, the resilience and courage displayed by the remarkable students in our Education Sponsorship Program (ESP) never ceases to amaze us. Recently, we have been inspired by two young men who are part of the ESP in eSwatini. Here are their stories: Thembela’s Story Thembela is a 29-year old student who recently completed his Diploma in Emergency Medical Care and Rescue. Thembela dreams of being a paramedic one day, but employment opportunities in eSwatini are limited. When Thembela approached our local partner in eSwatini with an idea that would set him apart from other graduates in his field, we jumped at the chance to empower this young man.
