Tour of St Peters College, Colombo, April 2023 – by Joe Paiva “A week before I left Sri Lanka in mid April 2023, I met with the St. Peters College, Colombo, President Old Boys Union ( OBU), Ravika de Silva as pre-arranged at the Dutch Burgher Union (DBU) cafe in Colombo. One thing led to another, and Ravika was gracious enough to offer to take me on a tour of College. The students were on holidays and there couldn’t have been a better time. Normally access to the complex is restricted, unless permitted by Rev Fr Rector. The whole complex from Galle Road (west), to the east including the grounds at the rear is overseen by security personnel at all times for good reasons.
