Although eligible employers can not yet enrol workers in the $130 billion wage subsidy scheme, ATO Deputy Commissioner James O’Halloran said bosses must act to ensure they meet all the criteria. “The government’s objective and our focus is to get money into the hands of the right employers, for the right employees in a timely matter to make a difference,” Mr O’Halloran said.
