All the helpers in the Program are Volunteers who do not receive any payment. Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim and other minor communities including Dambana Mahyangana Aadi Vasi Villages benefited from Solar Units irrespective of their origins.. This is a non-profit charity, where all Administration Costs are borne by the Committee Members, thus providing maximum benefit from the funds raised, to the economically handicapped. The Donation program started in May 2014, after reading an article about a student from Uva Province in Sri Lanka, passing their High School Examination with the highest marks.
