ANDUREN ELIYATA SOLAR POWERED LIGHT DONATION PROGRAM (AUSTRALIA)

Anduren Eliyata Solar Powered Light Donation is an Australian Charity registered with The Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC). We have completed 07 (Seven) years of service to the Communities in Sri Lanka.

Your valued contributions have made it possible to donate over 2500 Solar Packages to all communities in Sri Lanka in the past.

Anduren Eliyata was started in May 2014 to help the economically affected children and families with a reading light to enable them to study at night. Due to poverty, they are unable to purchase kerosene for lamps.

Now Anduren Eliyata provide a Solar Package with four lights and a FM Radio per family.

Anduren Eliyata depends mainly on the financial contributions and support we received from the Australian (Sri Lanka) Community in Australia.

Due to the Pandemic, we have been unable to raise funds for the purchase and distribution of Solar Powered Lighting Units. We had Rice Parcel Sales Drives, Food Stalls and Dances in the past. We continue to receive requests for lights, but due to lack of funds we are struggling to meet with the demand.

We are grateful for your support in the past seven years. We are aware of our supporters struggling with Mortgage Payments, Bank Loans, Tuition Expenses etc. Please spare a thought for the poor children who are unable to buy candles, kerosene and go without a meal in Sri Lanka.

According to the Primary School Principals, many a children were able to pass Scholarship Examination held by the Dept of Education in Sri Lanka due to light provided by our lighting packages. Solar Lights are powered by Sun Light at no cost to the user.

We Appeal Dear Friends and Supporters: Please help us to raise enough funds to order and clear goods at Sri Lanka Customs.
