Sydney Thunder signs Chamari Athapaththu Source:Dailynews WBBL side Sydney Thunder recently came forward to announce the signing of Sri Lanka women’s skipper Chamari Athapaththu ahead of the WBBL 2023–24 season. Notably, Athapaththu was recently snubbed from the overseas draft of the same tournament. However, her inclusion comes as she was named as an overseas replacement player for Thunder. The 33-year-old has quite the experience when it comes to competing in the WBBL.
