Passed Away on August 3rd, 2023 – By Jayam Rutnam Dr. Asoka Jayaweera Our amazing father, Seeya, grandfather, brother and son Dr. Asoka Jayaweera has passed and is hopefully on his way to Nirvana to meet mom, beautiful and talented Shantha K. Weerekoon Jayaweera. His dearly beloved brother, our uncle, Dr. Tissa Jayaweera, who passed also recently. He was the brilliant son of Ena Maud Jayaweera and George Wilfred Jayaweera.  Dr. Asoka Jayaweera “Jay” is survived by his daughter, Ashan (AJ) Jayaweera Chamberlin and his son, Surya Kirthi Jayaweera.  He was very adored and loved by his grandchildren Kaylee-Anna Jayaweera, Alexandra J.
