Creatives Honing Their Creativity During Pandemic Times ‘Cascading Thoughts in Pandemic Times’, a beautiful collection of poems by Eva P Wickramage and Subhashini Jayatilake was launched on the 16th of July among a distinguished crowd at St Joseph’s Centre in Baulkham Hills. The two Sri Lankan born Australian poets came together, as the title of the book suggests, during the pandemic isolation period. ‘Writing these poems gave us an opportunity to connect through social media in a meaningful way.’ Subhashini said, speaking of the journey she and the co-author took of which the result was this beautifully written collection. ‘It was a stressful time for all of us,’ agreed Eva, adding that social media gave the opportunity for her to connect with the world during isolation.
