ජර්මනියේ සුරංගනා වෘතාන්ත සැණකෙළිය – By ආචාර්ය ගාමිණී කාරියවසම්. හිම පතනය අවසන්ව , ශීත සමීරය පහව ගොස් ,හිරු කිරණ මිහිතලය සිප ගන්නා ග්‍රීෂ්ම ඍතුව, ජර්මන් දේශය කරා පියමන් කරන්නනේ ජර්මන් ජනතාව තුළ සතුට ප්‍රමොදය විකසිත කරමිනි. එම කාල පරාසය ජර්මනියේ සැණකෙළි සමය සේ සැලකේ. සාහිත්‍ය, සංගීතය, චිත්‍රපට,නාට්‍ය,ආහාර පාන ආදී විවිධ විෂයයීක තේමාවන් කේන්ද්‍ර කර ගනිමින් සැණකෙළි පවත්වන රටවල් අතරෙන් ජර්මනියට ප්‍රමුඛස්ථානයක් හිමිවේ. මෙම සැණකෙළි අතරෙන් 18 වන සියවසේදී ආරම්භ වී, සෑම වසරක් පාසාම අඛණ්ඩව පැවැත්වෙන විශිෂ්ඨතම කලා උළෙලක් වූ සුරංගනා වෘතාන්ත සැණකෙළිය පිලිබදව,නෙතින් දුටු දෑ පිලිබදව සටහනක් තැබීම මෙම ලිපියේ අරමුණවේ. මෙම ජාත්‍යන්තර සැණකෙළිය කුඩාවුන් පමණක් නොව වියපත්වුවන් ද සුරංගනා පරාදීසයකට කැදවා ගෙන යන සුළුය. සෑම වසරකම ග්‍රීෂ්ම ඍතුව එළඹෙන මැයි මස සිට අගෝස්තු මස අවසානය දක්වාවූ කාල පරාසය තුළ සුරංගනා වෘතාන්ත සැණකෙළිය මුළු දෙන්නේ ජර්මනියේ,නැගෙනහිර රයින් ප්‍රාන්තයේ පිහිටි හනව් ග්‍රාමීය නගරයෙහි ය. එම ගම් පෙත ජර්මනියේ සුරංගනා වෘතාන්ත නිර්මාතෘන් සේ බුහුමන් ලබන ග්‍රීම් දෙසොහොයුරන් ගේ නිජ බිම ලෙස සැලකේ. ...

Emirates boosts services to Melbourne adding second daily A380 flight   Source:island.lk Emirates has announced the second daily flight on its Dubai-Melbourne route, served by its flagship A380 aircraft. Starting 1 May, the airline will offer customers fourteen weekly services from Dubai to Melbourne.  The expansion of services is supported by the Victorian Government to help fast-track the return of international flights to Melbourne and bring more visitors to the state.  The additional daily frequency between Dubai and Melbourne will grow Emirates’ seats to over 1,000 a day totalling 700,000 a year between the airline’s global Dubai hub and Victoria, with 516 seats on each flight.
