Veteran Sri Lankan actor Jackson Anthony passes away at the age of 65. Source : newsfirst Veteran actor Jackson Anthony has passed away. He was involved in a car accident while receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of the Colombo National Hospital. The accident occurred on the 2nd of July 2022 when the vehicle that Jackson Anthony and two others were traveling in was attacked by an elephant. They were returning to Colombo after shooting a movie at the time. Despite over a year of treatment at the National Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, he succumbed to his injuries early on Monday (09) morning. He was 65 years old at the time of his death.
