SRI LANKA – DJI Mini 3 Pro | Cinematic Video – by Patrick Say SRI LANKA – An extraordinary place. We spent 15 days on a road trip across this awe-inspiring country exploring the lush emerald tea plantations, pristine beaches and stunning mountains and plains. Our trip took us to the northern city of Jaffna, via the mesmerizing Anuradhapura. We explored the beautiful landscapes of Kandalama and climbed the epic Sigiriya rock. We drove south to the beautiful Nuwara Eliya and stayed at the breathtaking 98 acres resort in Ella. We experienced a safari in Yala and had some well earned R&R at the beach town of Mirissa followed by exploration of the charming historical town of Galle. Tourists arrived in Sri Lanka in October from the 1st till the 22nd at 42,026 last year. This year, for October from the 1-22nd, the number is 77,763. Total arrivals this year so far is 1,094,019 compared to the previous year’s figures- 719,978. In 2019, before the COVID-19 endemic, it was reported that 1.9 million visitors arrived in Sri Lanka. It is a 21 per cent decrease from 2018, following the Easter Terror Attacks of April 2019. It’s recorded that the industry earned around $3.5 billion in 2019.
