Coconut Milk Laddu Recipe - By Malsha - eLanka

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • Sugar to taste
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Begin by setting aside a portion of the desiccated coconut for later use.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining desiccated coconut, condensed milk, a pinch of salt, and sugar to taste. If desired, add food coloring for a vibrant hue.
  3. Mix the ingredients well until they form a thick, sticky dough-like consistency.
  4. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into smooth, round balls, ensuring they hold their shape without spilling or breaking.
  5. If preferred, roll the prepared balls in the desiccated coconut set aside earlier for an extra layer of texture.
  6. Optionally, for added crunchiness, blend some sugar separately and sprinkle it over the laddu balls.
  7. Alternatively, for a softer texture, mix the desiccated coconut mixture with condensed milk until well combined and smooth.
  8. Once prepared, wrap the laddu balls individually in desiccated coconut paper for a traditional touch.

Enjoy these delicious coconut milk laddus as a delightful treat or dessert!
