CHORUS MANDALA-SUNDAY 13th APRIL, 5 PM (Sydney Event )
“CHORUS MANDALA” – a concept that we have been working on for many months now. This will be an evening where top Bollywood songs will be presented in a 8-voice harmonic choir, backed up by a 14-piece Australian Chamber Orchestra!!
Some of the best voices in Sydney will present the songs for you, in a choir form – Vikas Kolar, Mayank Singh, Kerman Mistry, Rucha Lange, Shirley DeSouza, Sumedha Manjure, Rashmi Chandra and yours truly. The chamber orchestra will be conducted by the young maestro Suraj Nagaraj with the ace first-violinist of the orchestra – Sagar Nagaraj.
This type of music, friends, is a “first time” in Sydney and we have designed the concept based on inspirations from the world-renowned Shillong Choir and the Berklee Choir. I will also do the honours of being your emcee for the evening, leading you through the unique design of each song.
This is an AIO production and the tickets are now available at AIO.ORG.AU
