Shaam e Ghazal with Rachana Bhatnagar Avijit Sarkar – SAT, 6th SEP 6 PM ( Sydney Event )
I first did the Shaam-e-Ghazal concert with Sydney’s renowned vocalist Rachana Bhatnagar in 1993! Since then, we have been keeping this traditional style of music alive in Australia for three decades.
Our next Shaam e Ghazal is on SAT 6th SEP 2025 at the Madison Function Center. This will be an evening dedicated to the finest Ghazals, Nazms and Geet – both traditional and from films. We will be backed up on stage by the most talented group of musicians in Sydney Abhijit Dan (Tabla), Sadiq Rehmani (Guitar), Sabin Ghising (Flute) and Sanjeev Raja (side-effects). We have also invited Sydney’s rising star Ruhani Dhillon to present her choice of ghazals.
Away from laser lights and heavily orchestrated songs, this evening will be an exclusive event for the lovers of immortal songs, lilting music and exquisite poetry. I would love to see many of you in the audience
