A Man-Created Warming of Mother Earth. – By Noor R. Rahim The devastating ecological changes that humans encounter today Are just the result of the humans’ avaricious and ambitious weighs Always throwing caution to the wind and putting it off for another day Comfort foremost being the mindset without thought to what may lay   In his/her greed for material gains there’s nothing withheld in the foray The whole World appears to follow this disastrous concept, so to say In boosting the National Wealth do they indulge and encourage The exploitation of Mother Natures’ assets to fulfil the National usage   It was in “Nature Studies” we were taught The results of the ravages on the ecology of the land Would bring to the humans untold distraught Summing it: “Man will destroy Nature & Nature will destroy Man”   Does one really think for a moment the felling of these ...

As Long as there is Breath – by Noor R. Rahim     It is indeed an old age saying – “As long as there is breath – life goes on”; and as time goes by we do go through various phases in our lives, some short lived and yet others long lived. However, how you manage the various phases of life is dependent on each individual and his/her will to live a healthy and safe life. Cricket – A game for the Handicapped? By Noor R. Rahim Travelling from the Airport to their Beach Hotel two Elderly American ladies saw many people gathered around radios and Television Sets enroute to their Hotel. The crowds were very vociferous with dancing, flag waving and generally appearing happy in a carnival like atmosphere. Once at the Hotel they enquired if there was a Festival being celebrated as they had seen people on the road making merry. The receptionist explained that today was the “Final Test Cricket Match” against the visitors from “down under”. With a win today we would sweep them away and “bury” them, as we had won two of the three already. The festive mood in the streets is because we have already won the series. After refreshing themselves they strolled out to the Beach Cabana with their drinks and Transistor Radio to take in the sun ...
