Here’s a simple recipe to make your own marshmallows from scratch: Ingredients: 250g of sugar 30g of gelatin 50ml lukewarm water 100ml of water 1 teaspoon of vanilla A small amount of cornflakes Instructions: Begin by buttering a small tray suitable for setting the marshmallows. Set it aside for later. Dissolve the gelatin in lukewarm water and set it aside to bloom. In a thick pan, combine the sugar and a small amount of water. Heat this mixture over low flame. You’ll know it’s ready when the mixture reaches the consistency of a syrup that forms a thin string when lifted with a spoon.
