The competition is to “arrange” a short story, using every letter in our English Alphabet (A-Z),as shown in my own story below.  The best results (3) will then be displayed on e’Lanka for everyone to read, proudly.  My example is as follows. ——-    Animals, birds, cats, dogs, etcetera, find great hope in just kindness, leaning more naturally on people quietly, regarding such trust, under various ways, x-factor, your Zoo. “WANNA-BUM” a row/or something” – by Des Kelly With due thanks to both Charmaine and Keith, we always appreciate old favourites, and this is no exception. “Wanna-Bum”(arow or whatever), is an old song, that I remember from way back when, recorded perhaps twenty years ago, but such was the Commercial value of the song, that people like me, who love good music, will never forget. Now, here is a young couple renewing our interest in this old hit. Close  your eyes, sit back, and listen to what was a great song, “Wanna-Bum” aro, or something of that nature. Don’t as me what it is, I don’t know All I recall is “Wanna-Bum” a row”!!!.   Desmond Kelly (Editor-in-Chief) e’Lanka. ...

AMERICA – by Des Kelly They called him “Whispering Bill” because  of the timbre of his voice which was softer than normal, but Bill Anderson is also famous as a Songwriter of note, and he combined this beautiful, touching song about his Country, and the men and women who went to war for it, proving beyond doubt that Americans are prouder of their Homeland, than most other Countries are, and Whispering Bill’s song goes a long way to prove this. ...

There is Poetry-prose, written in somewhat  flowery language, usually to attract the opposite  sex, and then of course, rhyming poetry that comes in all shapes and sizes, all dependent on how much of it, one is prepared to read. This is some very well written comedy poetry, and I’ll say no more Thanks to Keith Bennett, this poetic banter between husband and wife is very witty and easy to read Desmond Kelly. (Editor-in-Chief) e’Lanka. A verbal-fight between husband and wife (both are M.A. in English literature). “UNITED, WE STAND” – by Des Kelly United, we stand, divided, we fall. There could never be a phrase that teaches everyone this truest, most important lesson, ever. e’Lanka, as far as I am concerned, will not delve into either Politics or Religion, the reason being, that there is SO MUCH of these two argument-prone subjects around, even as I write this, the less publicised, the better. However, briefly and personally put, ...
