C3 Church Christian Congregation Australia (CCA) at Toongabbie is organising a musical fundraiser, the Sound of Harmony, to purchase bedside monitoring equipment for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
The event will be held at on Saturday, November 4,
at C3 Church, Silverwater (108 Silverwater Rd, Silverwater NSW 2128),
from 6pm and will feature local musicians and choirs.
Senior Pastor Mithran Chellappah said they do regular charity events for the needy people in Sri Lanka and India but this time wanted to give back something to the local community.
“Australia has given us so much and we wanted to run this fundraiser to benefit the Children’s Hospital,” pastor Chellappah said.
“The bedside monitoring equipment costs around $21,000 and we are anticipating we could raise sufficient funds towards the hospital purchasing two .
“We are also using the event as an opportunity to bless the community.”
Pastor Chellappah said the church has funded programs for leprosy patients in India, education for children impacted by the war in Sri Lanka and also run a community coffee project in Pendle Hill.
Donations are welcome.
