“THIS SONG’S JUST FOR YOU”

“Especially for you”, readers of eLanka, THE Website for Sri Lankan / Aussies everywhere & The Lanka Times (both, also “on-line”), as you good people know, I have recently been featuring what I term “Stories in Song”, bringing you into-touch with some of the great songs and Song-Writers that have graced our World with their superb contributions in Music.

Just a couple of days ago, our Social-Media in amalgamation with a former “Showbiz” Cameraman, got their “15 minutes of fame” on our television screens, the “man behind the camera-lens” ACTUALLY trying to convince ME that there was deep meaning behind the NOISE (as HE called it) , WAS MUSIC that had to be “listened-to” , in order to be understood,

“Big Names” in Showbiz were then featured, playing with their Bands on World Stages, SCREAMING unpalatable, incomprehensible “Lyrics? ” at the top of their lungs, “Bands?”!, playing their instruments with decible-content at it’s maximum, and then, to finish their “concerts? “, by SMASHING beautiful expensive guitars, simply because they could then go out and buy more guitars to smash because of the “big money” they were being paid for supplying their beautiful music.!!!. I ask you, is the World going mad? .

For someone (anyone), to even be PERMITTED to come on T.V. and try to convince his audience that NOISE! is Music. No wonder some of our television channels are steadily going broke.! I HAD to watch the bloody thing for the.purpose of writing this story, otherwise I would have switched it off pronto. Is it any wonder that our “Shrinks” love music that “Stinks”. Nuff said about music that is noise and get down to a song featured on a couple of new CDs of mine that are now also featured on my exclusive “You-Tube” Channel on “e’Lanka”& is available thru them.

There are about 47 songs that are “HOME-RECORDED”
There are no “bands”, recording-studios involved.
MOST of them are SELF-BACKED on my “Keyboard”.
There are about 7or8 “Original Compositions of mine.
The music is “easy on the ear”, “STORIES IN SONG”
