According to MC Duke; “It was an absolute privilege and honour to be invited to host my 10th Thomian Ball in Melbourne on Saturday night!” — and what better milestone than the historic 175th Anniversary Ball, celebrated by close to 500 guests at the magnificent Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
President Neomal Jasinghe and his wonderful committee pulled it off in absolute style — a truly memorable celebration befitting this mammoth milestone.
It was also so special catching up and celebrating with classmates, lifelong friends and so many familiar faces and regulars who have supported this wonderful event over the years.
And what an absolute pleasure it was working alongside Melbourne diva Shehara, George and the brilliant Redemption, the ever-energetic Dynamics, and singing sensation and Sri Lanka’s The Voice, Ruchira de Silva. What a combination of talent! You guys certainly kept that dance floor rocking all night.
Not forgetting the genuine “pinch me” moment… the incredible production by the master, Warren Jay Productions, and particularly the spectacular intro Warren created for my entrance. I was completely blown away and incredibly humbled by it. Thank you, my friend! Regards, MC Duke
