“ANOTHER GREAT BRADBY NIGHT” “SUPERB QUALITY TELECAST”“GOOD MUSIC, YUMMY FOOD”

These were some of the accolades showered by Old Royalists and Trinitians young and not so young at the Annual Bradby Shield match telecast, followed by music and dancing in Sydney.

The night kicked off on time with RCOBA NSW/ACT President Chanaka Gunasekera’s welcome speech, acknowledging the great relationship between the two schools and presence of many former Rugby Players from Royal & Trinity.

As usual the Royalists, Trinitian’s and, their partners, turned out in numbers.  The audience representing the famed “alma maters” ranged in age from twenties to nineties and was a sea of Blue & Gold and Blue, Gold & Red.  The quality of the live streaming, western buffet, beverages, service and general ambience was fabulous as usual.

The Old Royalist were in a jubilant mood with the Royal team playing a flawless game of Rugby. The score line does not do justice to how well the Trinity Lions played.

As soon as the match ended, it was party time with most of the guests on the dance floor.  Music finally stopped after midnight and Royalist & Trinitians left home carrying memories of another memorable Bradby Shield evening, filled with fun, laughter and camaraderie.  The result of the match did not matter.

The Joint Royal & Trinity Organising committee should be applauded for yet again producing a well thought through, organized and efficiently delivered event.
